AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 90-59-3 BEING "AN ORDINANCE
PROVIDING FOR THE ZONING OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, DUVAL
COUNTY, FLORIDA FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING HEALTH, SAFETY,
MORALS AND THE GENERAL WELFARE OF THE CITY, UNDER AND PURSUANT
TO THE 'ATLANTIC BEACH CHARTER : PROVIDING FOR THE ENFORCEMENT
THEREOF, FIXING PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF: REPEALING ORDINANCE
NUMBER 50 AND ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH AND FIXING THE
DATE WHEN SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. "
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA.
Section 1. That the Zoning Map. of the City of Atlantic Beach be
changed as follows:
(a) That Blocks 25, 26, 27 , 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36,
37 , 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43 , 44 and 45, Section H, Plat Book 18, Page 34,
be changed from Business "B" Zone to Business "A" Zone.
(b) That two 100 foot parcels of land, lying on the east side
of Mayport Road between the Atlantic Villa Subdivision and the
Atlantic Gardens Apartment site be changed from Business "B" Zone
to Business "A" Zone.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon final passage.
