SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 33-07-12
Amending Sec. 5 of the Charter to elect
four (4) city commissioners from districts.
Amending Sec. 5 of the Charter to designate
commission seats 2 through 5 as district
commissioners, with each commissioner
continuing to be elected at large, but required
to reside in the district from which he is
elected. The four districts shalt be established
by ordinance and use existing precinct lines as
a beginning point, and shall be as equal in
population as possible and to the extent
possible maintain the integrity of
neighborhoods and communities.
