427 Inland Way Arborist Letter DENIED [i HUF'FMAN TREE SERVICE 'P O,,"Box 037 ...,.. •. ......... ......... ..................................................,.................. Jacksonville yy tt) nville le Bach, FL. 3?24 t .:. 904-24i-5621-ray March 30, 2023 This letter is in.regards to the current status and condition of a live oak (Quercus virginiana) tree located at the Tillman residence at 427 Inland Way in the Oceanwalk sub-division in.Atlantic Beach, Florida 32233. The tree.is located on the south side of the property and in the front yard approx. 12' feet from the street. The tree is approx. 40'ft in height with-a 26"' DBH (diameter at breast height) and is the remaining section of a former bifurcated trunk. It has a significant 'lean out over the:street as a result of being the sub dominate to a separate and larger'Live oak behind it. Additionally.the remaining trunk has a cavity (approx. 4' ft from the ground) where the former dominate stem was that failed several years. ago in a storm. This cavity is to-large:for the tree to compartrnentalize'and as a result has the potential to retain water which could cause decay.. Based on these factors the tree poses moderate risk to the right of way/roadway. The only way to alleviate this risk is to remove the tree If you have any further questions let me know.
