CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Approved minutes of the July 20, 2023 Safety, Traffic and Parking Committee Meeting
2. PUBLIC COMMENT
• Pam McCrary commented about bicyclists speeding and running stop signs.
• Mr. Tari and Mr. Reich expressed opposition to the meeting date having been changed due
to a meeting-room conflict, and the agenda being changed due in favor of a priority-
setting exercise. A discussion ensued with Chair Caudle, Ms. Neville and Mr. Harrell
expressing that they support the agenda change.
• Mayor Curtis Ford expressed appreciation to the committee members for their service;
acknowledged the hearty committee resource library; and accepted responsibility for the
agenda change, saying that establishing priorities is paramount to achieving quality results.
He said priority-setting facilitator Linda Lanier would bring professional excellence to the
process.
3. PRIORITY-SETTING EXERCISE (FULL COMMITTEE; LED BY LINDA LANIER)
• Ms. Lanier facilitated a priority-setting exercise. The following committee priorities were
established:

Mr. Hogencamp acknowledged the substantial updates to the Committee Resource Library.
