• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A MAINTENANCE
CONTRACT AGREEMENT, RENEWING CONTRACT NO. B-
B 117 BETWEEN THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH AND
FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, on June 2, 1997, the city executed an agreement with the Florida Department
of Transportation providing for maintenance of certain streets throughout the city; and
WHEREAS, the agreement has a renewal option if mutually agreed by both parties, and
subject to the same terms and conditions as the original agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach desires to extend the
agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation for one year beginning July 1, 1999 and
ending June 30, 2000.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach,
as follows:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said Maintenance Renewal
• Agreement on behalf of the City of Atlantic Beach.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its final passage and
adoption.
PASSED by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach this 14th day of June, 1999.
