A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA
RECOGNIZING JOHN FLETCHER FOR HIS SERVICE ON THE
PENSION BOARD OF TRUSTEES
WHEREAS, John Fletcher was appointed to the Pension Board of Trustees on January 11,
1993, and
WHEREAS, John Fletcher has served as Chairman of the Pension Board of Trustees since
May, 1998, and
• WHEREAS, during his tenure on the Pension Board of Trustees, John Fletcher gave
unselfishly of his time and talents and provided practical and logical review of pension issues facing
the city and its employees, and gave a sense that the pension plan was in good hands, and
WHEREAS, John Fletcher has indicated that he will be moving out of the city and has
submitted his resignation from the Pension Board of Trustees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Commission of the City of Atlantic
Beach expresses deep appreciation to John Fletcher for his leadership and his service to our
community, and extends best wishes for his future happiness.
ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, this 27th day of
September, 1999.
