A RESOLUTION HONORING TROY WILLIAMS FOR HIS
THIRTY YEARS OF SERVICE AS A HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
FOR THE CITY AND CITIZENS OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, Troy Williams has served as Sanitation Foreman,General Maintenance
Worker and as Heavy Equipment Operator for the Department of Public Works since June
30, 1969; and
WHEREAS, the performance of Troy's duties and responsibilities have been
recognized as outstanding by his peers and the citizens of Atlantic Beach; and
WHEREAS, Troy supervised the Sanitation Division during the days of six-day-per-
il,
week pickup and was commended by many citizens for his personal and supervisory efforts;
and
WHEREAS, Troy's expertise on heavy equipment, especially the clam truck for 4
removing yard waste, has been a tremendous benefit to the City; and
WHEREAS,Troy's diligent work has received written commendations on the clearing 3
of Dutton Island, assistance on Town Center, clearing at Atlantic Beach Elementary School
and many other special projects; and
WHEREAS, Troy continues to be a top performer and frequently fills in as Crew Chief. -74
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH,
FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Commission and Citizens of Atlantic Beach extend their most
heartfelt appreciation to Troy Williams for his many years of outstanding service and
contribution to the Public Works Department of the City.
