WHEREAS, Mark McGowan has served the people of the City of Atlantic Beach as a
member of the Community Development Board since October 1991; and
WHEREAS, Mark McGowan gave most generously of his time, talents and energy to
preserve the character and quality of life in Atlantic Beach for the benefit of all the residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Commission of Atlantic Beach, Florida,
does hereby express sincere appreciation and heartfelt gratitude for the contributions of Mark
McGowan and extends best wishes for his future happiness.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution of esteem be spread upon the
official minutes of the City of Atlantic Beach and a certified copy hereof be furnished to Mark
McGowan.
Adopted by the City Commission of Atlantic Beach, Florida, this 23rd day of February, 1998.
