A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF
ATLANTIC BEACH,FLORIDA,FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
OCTOBER 1, 1997 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1998
WHEREAS, the City Charter of the City of Atlantic Beach requires that the City Commission
approve all budgetary increases and transfers at the fund level, and
WHEREAS,the nature of budgetary systems and those day to day decisions affecting such
budgetary systems require adjustments from time to time.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic
Beach,that the following Budget Modification be approved for the 1997-1998 Operating Budget.
SEWER UTILITY FUND
Revenues:
FEMA Grant Proceeds $6,749
Expenses:
Atlantic Beach Division
Operating Expenses
Rental of Pumps, supplies, other miscellaneous $6,749
STORM WATER UTILITY FUND
Revenues:
FEMA Grant Proceeds $21,089
Expenses:
Operating Expenses
Contract Services for sink hole repair $21,089
PUBLIC WORKS ADMINISTRATION INTERNAL SERVICE FUND
Revenues:
FEMA Grant Proceeds $1,113
Expenses:
Operating Expenses
Other current charges $1,113
Description:
The City has received reimbursement for flood damage in the amount of$28,951. The above
adjust is needed to replenish the accounts from which the expenses were originally paid. The
reimbursement is from the Federal Emergency Management Act disaster relief funds. The check
was received and deposited on June 29, 1998.
Adopted by the City Commission this 14th day of July, 1998.
