A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA
ESTABLISHING A ONE-TIME PERFORMANCE-BASED BONUS FOR
THE CITY MANAGER AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Atlantic Beach has a City Manager rendering valuable
services, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has served as a Consultant to the Commission, as
Assistant City Manager, and as City Manager over the last seven years; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has faithfully performed his various duties with a critical
and effective eye with regard to cost saving measures which have saved the City and its
Taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars through outsourcing and other innovative
measures; and
WHEREAS, the City of Atlantic Beach has been most efficiently and effectively run on a
day-to-day basis under the direction of the City Manager; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has resigned from his duties effective January 12, 1999 in
order to pursue a career choice to serve the Lord;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Commissioners wish
to commend the City Manager for the high degree of excellence and initiative with which he has
• performed his duties; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be suitably honored for this
excellent service at the next Public Meeting of the City Commission on January 11, 1999, at
which time he will receive a Key to the City of Atlantic Beach; and
