A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH,
FLORIDA,NAMING PROPERTY IN OCEAN GROVE UNIT 2 AS
MANDALAY PARK
WHEREAS, in 1989, the City of Atlantic Beach purchased property described as Blocks 2
and 3, Ocean Grove, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has decided that this property, bounded by Ocean
Boulevard, 16th Street, and Seminole Road, and including the closed portion of Dewees Avenue,
should be used as a park, and
WHEREAS, the Recreation Advisory Board has recommended that this park be named
"Mandalay Park".
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF ATLANTIC BEACH, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The triangular shaped property,located in Ocean Grove Subdivision, Atlantic
Beach,bounded by Ocean Boulevard, 16th Street, and Seminole Road, including the closed portion
of Dewees Avenue therein, shall hereafter be designated and known as MANDALAY PARK.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
