A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH,
FLORIDA, HONORING COMMISSIONER TIMOTHY R. REED
FOR HIS PUBLIC SERVICE AS CITY COMMISSIONER, SEAT 3
WHEREAS, Tim Reed successfully won election on October 3, 1995 to serve as a City
Commissioner in the great City of Atlantic Beach, and
WHEREAS, Tim Reed represented the citizens and voters of Atlantic Beach in a forthright, honest
and objective manner, providing a much needed financial and accounting perspective to the Commission
as a whole, and
WHEREAS,the City Commission recognizes what a valuable and important contribution Tim Reed
made during his tenure as a member of the City Commission and as a citizen of Atlantic Beach, and
WHEREAS, Tim and April Reed gave birth to a daughter, Reagan, on February 2, 1996.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that as a token of the gratitude and appreciation of the
City Commission, staff and citizens for this dedication to public service, Tim Reed, April Reed, and Reagan
Reed, and any other Reeds that may be forthcoming, are now and will for ever be recognized as"Official
Residents" of the City of Atlantic Beach, and accorded all due respect, privileges and distinction
commensurate with this honor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be spread upon the official minutes
of the City of Atlantic Beach and a certified copy hereof be furnished to the Reed family.
ADOPTED by the City Commission of Atlantic Beach, Fl• '1,a, this 14th day of April, 1997.
