A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH
ESTABLISHING AN AUDIT SELECTION COMMITTEE, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Atlantic Beach has requested proposals for audit services; and
WHEREAS, Florida Statutes 11.45 required municipalities to establish an audit selection
committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic
Beach as follows:
Section 1. In compliance with Florida Statutes 11.45, the City Commission hereby
establishes an audit selection committee consisting of Commissioner John Meserve, City Manager
James Jarboe, and Finance Director Ann Meuse.
Section 2. The City Commission also elects to follow the competitive auditor selection
process as described in Florida Statutes 11.45.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
