A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA-
HONORING CHRISTY TUTTLE AS "EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR"
FOR THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH
WHEREAS, Christy Tuttle, Administrative Assistant to the Director of the Public Works
Department, has been proclaimed "Employee of the Year" for the City of Atlantic Beach; and
WHEREAS, the performance of Christy's duties and responsibilities has been characterized
by excellent and courteous assistance, both to the citizens of Atlantic Beach and her fellow
employees; and
WHEREAS, As Administrative Assistant Christy handles inquiries, complaints and provides
information regarding water, sewer, sanitation, roads and streets, construction projects and
stormwater concerns. In addition, she supervises the administration of payroll, purchasing, and
record keeping for the Department; and
WHEREAS, Christy's work ethic and innovations have been instrumental in improving the
professional image of the Public Works Department and the City of Atlantic Beach. In addition, her
ability to implement major city-wide changes in purchasing and computer procedures has been
exceptional.
WHEREAS, Christy's dedication to her job and her helpful and courteous attitude to the
citizens of Atlantic Beach has been appreciated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:.
SECTION 1. The City Commission and Citizens of Atlantic Beach extend their most
heartfelt appreciation to Christy Tuttle for her years of outstanding service and contribution to the
Public Works Department of the City.
Adopted by the City Commission of Atlantic Beach this 23rd day of June, 1997.
