A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH,
FLORIDA SUPPORTING THE PROPOSED INTERLOCAL
GAS TAX AGREEMENT WITH JACKSONVILLE AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN ON BEHALF OF
THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the proposed Agreement is the same as the existing Agreement, and
WHEREAS, a new Agreement must be implemented for the State of Florida by August 30,
1996, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to continue to receive the gas tax revenue provided by the
Agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA,AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Commission authorizes the Mayor to sign the new
Agreement as shown in Attachment A of this resolution.
