KACZMARCZYK FOR HIS TWENTY YEARS OF SERVICE AS AN OUTSTANDING POLICE OFFICER FOR THE CITY AND CITIZENS OF ATLANTIC BEACH WHEREAS, Raymond D. Kaczmarczyk served as an exemplary Police Officer for twenty years with the City; and WHEREAS, He served for more than ten years as a traffic homicide investigator where he applied his training and experience to the investigation of traffic crashes involving deaths or life threatening injuries; and WHEREAS, He performed the duties of a Field Training Officer for more than ten years which involved the training, direction, guidance, and indoctrination of new officers into the profession of law enforcement and into the Atlantic Beach Police Department. WHEREAS,He represented the Atlantic Beach Police Department on the regional Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Team where he counseled other law enforcement officers after particularly stressful or traumatic incidents in their personal or professional lives; and WHEREAS, throughout his career he has performed a variety of administrative functions which were instrumental to the day to day operations of the Atlantic Beach Police Department. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:. SECTION 1. The City Commission and Citizens of Atlantic Beach extend their most heartfelt appreciation to Raymond D. Kaczmarczyk for his many years of outstanding service in protecting our Community. SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized on behalf of the City to give to Raymond D. Kaczmarczyk the Badge and Gun he carried as a Patrolman, as is the Law Enforcement Tradition for outstanding service.
