A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR THE ENTHUSIASM AND
COMMUNITY SUPPORT SHOWN BY GATX LOGISTICS,
INCORPORATED IN ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH BEACHES HABITAT;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach
recognizes and applauds the contribution made to the citizens of
Atlantic Beach by GATX Logistics, Inc. and its employees , in
partnership with Beaches Habitat , and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to take action to
publicly thank GATX Logistics , Inc. and its employees and to
encourage them to continue their work with Beaches Habitat , and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach
wishes to encourage other corporations and their employees to
emulate the high standards of community involvement and support
exhibited by GATX Logistics , Inc. and its employees ,
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . The City Commission of the City of Atlantic
Beach expresses its sincere thanks to GATX Logistics , Inc . and
its dedicated employees for their work as a Beaches Habitat
partner in the construction of the house at 1968 Francis
Avenue. The City of Atlantic Beach encourages other groups and
corporations to follow the example of GATX Logistics , Inc . and
contribute to the fine and necessary work done by Beaches
Habitat for our community .
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon final passage.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION ON: JANUARY 9 , 1995 .
