WHEREAS, Ruth Gregg served the people of the City of Atlantic
Beach as a member of the Advisory Planning Board from January 1982
until 1987 when she was appointed to the newly created Community
Development Board, and
WHEREAS, in addition to her service on these boards, Ruth
Gregg gave most generously of her time, talents, and energy on
various committees to preserve the character and quality of life in
Atlantic Beach for the benefit of all the residents, and
WHEREAS, Ruth Gregg has resigned from the Community
Development Board to pursue other interests.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Commission of Atlantic
Beach, Florida, does hereby express its sincere appreciation and
heartfelt gratitude for the contributions of Ruth Gregg.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution of
recognition and appreciation be spread upon the official minutes of
the City of Atlantic Beach and a certified copy hereof be furnished
to Ruth Gregg.
Adopted by the City Commission of Atlantic Beach, Florida,
this 13th day of February 1995.
