WHEREAS, on February 2, 1989, the City of Atlantic Beach
purchased property described as Blocks 2, 3, and 5, Ocean Grove, as
recorded in Plat Book 15, Page 82, the same being a triangular
parcel bounded by Sixteenth Street, Ocean Boulevard and Seminole
Road in Atlantic Beach; and
WHEREAS, the acquisition of land for park and recreational
purposes has been identified as a high priority of the City
Commission, and
WHEREAS, the land described above would be suitable for use as
a park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the
City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, as follows:
Section 1. The land described as Blocks 2, 3, and 5, Ocean
Grove, being a triangular parcel bounded by Sixteenth Street, Ocean
Boulevard, and Seminole Road, shall hereafter be used by the city
as a park.
Adopted by the Atlantic Beach City Commission this 8th day of May,
1995.
