A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING CERTAIN MONIES BETWEEN FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City Charter of the City of Atlantic Beach
requires that the City Commission approve all budgetary increases
and transfers from one fund to another, and
WHEREAS, the nature of budgetary systems and those day to day
decisions affecting such budgetary systems require adjustment from
time to time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the
City of Atlantic Beach, that the attached Budget Adjustment be
approved for the 1994-95 budget.
Adopted by the City Commission this 12th day of June, 1995.

BACKGROUND: Utilizing funds in Street Repaving, it is
recommended that we mill and resurface Royal Palms Drive and
Sailfish Drive from Atlantic Boulevard to Plaza. This work
would be done by Duval Asphalt under City of Jacksonville
Contract for Asphalt Paving ( * ) . The following is a cost
breakdown with total cost analysis, including a 10%
contingency added on. Total cost, based on milling down the
surface 2 inches and resurfacing with 1-1/2 inches Type III
asphalt, with adjustment of applicable sewer manholes and
mobilization cost :

BACKGROUND: Construction on the 16th Street Dune Crossover
began on 6/01/95. The proposed cost is as follows :

We are proposing a change order for a tongue and groove 6'
foot high x 220' foot long privacy wall on the north side of
the walkway. It is estimated that a wall on the north side
will cost an additional amount of $6, 000 and add
approximately one to two weeks to the construction time.
This wall is an agreeable solution to the adjacent property
owner 's objections to the proposed new construction.
RECOMMENDATION : Approve Change Order
