A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING CERTAIN MONIES BETWEEN FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City Charter of the City of Atlantic Beach requires that the City
Commission approve all budgetary increases and transfers from one fund to another, and
WHEREAS, the nature of budgetary systems and those day to day decisions affecting
such budgetary systems require adjustment from time to time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Atlantic Beach, that the attached Budget Adjustment be approved for the 1995-96 budget:

Subject: 1995/1996 Budget Modification - Purchase of Detective Vehicle
The 1995/1996 budget includes an $8,500 expenditure for a used detective
vehicle. As you requested, following is a budget modification which will allow the
General Fund to advance an additional $8,000 for the purchase of a new detective
vehicle at an approximate cost of $16,500 with the intent that the General Fund
be reimbursed by the Police Trust Fund when monies from confiscated properties
are received. As we discussed, the police department is anticipating over $27,000
in funds from confiscated property. These monies are recorded in the Police Trust
Fund in accordance with Florida Statute 932.704.
