WHEREAS, Rose Blanchard was employed by the City of Atlantic
Beach for fifteen years where she worked in the office of the City
Clerk and later, served as Parks and Recreation Director; and
WHEREAS, Rose Blanchard dedicated her life to improving the
quality of life for all residents of Atlantic Beach, but had a
special affinity for the well-being of children; and
WHEREAS, Rose Blanchard has announced her retirement effective
September 30, 1994 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH:
SECTION 1 . That the City Commission hereby recognizes with
deep appreciation the competent, loyal, and dedicated service of
Rose Blanchard and extends sincere best wishes for an enjoyable
retirement.
SECTION 2. That a copy of this resolution of recognition
and appreciation be spread upon the official minutes of the City of
Atlantic Beach, and a certified copy hereof be furnished to Rose
Blanchard.
ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach,
