WHEREAS, Joseph P. Garvin entered the profession of Police
Officer in 1968 and has been employed by the City of Atlantic Beach
since that time; and
WHEREAS, Joseph P. Garvin served the people of the City of
Atlantic Beach as a dedicated and loyal police officer; and
WHEREAS, Joseph P. Garvin has announced his retirement
effective October 1, 1994.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH:
SECTION 1 . That the City Commission of the City of
Atlantic Beach hereby recognizes with deep appreciation the
competent, loyal, and dedicated service of Joseph P. Garvin and
extends best wishes for an enjoyable retirement.
SECTION 2. That a copy of this resolution of recognition
be spread upon the official minutes of the City of Atlantic Beach,
and a certified copy hereof be furnished to Joseph P. Garvin.
ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach,
Florida, this 24th day of October, 1994.
