A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF
ATLANTIC BEACH AUTHORIZING CITY
STAFF TO CONDUCT BUSINESS WITH
PONTE VEDRA NATIONAL BANK.
WHEREAS, The City of Atlantic Beach budgeted to acquire
certain equipment via a lease purchase option, and
WHEREAS, The City Commission authorized the City Manager to
proceed with Liberty National Leasing Company, the low bidder, to
secure funding to acquire said equipment, and
WHEREAS, The funding has been received in the form of a
check in the amount of $499 , 500 . 00, and
WHEREAS, City staff wishes to establish a separate bank
account to segregate said funds, and
WHEREAS, Ponte Vedra National Bank is a financial
institution, legally licensed to perform banking services in the
State of Florida, with a branch office located in Atlantic Beach,
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH as follows :
Section 1 .
City staff is hereby authorized to establish a corporate
account with Ponte Vedra National Bank in order to conduct
business on behalf of the City of Atlantic Beach. All
transactions will require the signature of at least two of the
following individuals: City Manager, City Clerk, and Finance
Director.
