WHEREAS, Samuel T. Howie has served the people of the City of
Atlantic Beach as a member of the Community Development Board since
its inception in 1987, and
WHEREAS, Samuel T. Howie gave most generously of his time,
talents, and energy to preserve the character and quality of life
in Atlantic Beach for the benefit of all the residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Commission of Atlantic
Beach, Florida, does hereby express its sincere appreciation and
heartfelt gratitude for the contributions of Samuel T. Howie, and
extends its best wishes for his future happiness.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution of
recognition and appreciation be spread upon the official minutes of
the City of Atlantic Beach and a certified copy hereof be furnished
to Samuel T. Howie.
