A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH
AMENDING THE PURCHASING POLICY OF THE CITY TO
REQUIRE AT LEAST TWO BRANDS AND/OR ACCEPTABLE
MODELS BE SPECIFIED ON ALL INVITATIONS TO BID
ON COMMODITIES;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of the
City of Atlantic Beach as follows :
SECTION 1 . The Purchasing Agent, Joan S . Lavake, is hereby
directed to initiate the required changes in the purchasing policy
and to insure that all future invitations for commodities conform
to the change.
SECTION 2 . Other offices , department heads , and employees of
the City are directed to comply with this policy change.
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage and adoption.
