A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH
DIRECTING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO SET UP AN
ACCOUNT FOR DONATIONS GIVEN BY THE PUBLIC TO
THE FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR A DEFIBRILLATOR, AND
THE PROCEDURES TO USE REVENUES FROM THE
ACCOUNT, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic
Beach, Florida, as follows:
Section 1 . The Finance Director is hereby directed to set
up a reserve account within the city budget for donations given for
a defibrillator. Any revenue from this reserve account must be
used to fund the purchase of a defibrillator within purchasing
rules set by the City Commission.
All revenue development activities must receive prior approval
by the City Manager.
Adopted by the City Commission of Atlantic Beach, Florida,
this 26th day of April , 1993.
