A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH IN MEMORY OF
JAMES HENRY "DICK" RIGSBEE
WHEREAS, Dick Rigsbee served the City of Atlantic Beach as a member
of the Advisory Planning Board from August 1976 to January 1982; and
WHEREAS, Dick Rigsbee served effectively and efficiently to promote
the well-being of the citizens of Atlantic Beach; and
WHEREAS, Dick Rigsbee earned the utmost respect of the community
for the capable manner in which he discharged his responsibilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ATLANTIC BEACH CITY
COMMISSION hereby expresses sincere appreciation for the life of Dick
Rigsbee, and for the outstanding service rendered to the City of
Atlantic Beach, and that the City Commission expresses its most sincere
sympathy to the family of Mr. Rigsbee.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that in recognition of such service a true
copy of this resolution be made a part of the permanent records of the
City of Atlantic Beach, and that the original, duly inscribed by the
Mayor and City Commissioners be presented to the family of Dick Rigsbee.
ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach,
Florida, this 24th day of May, 1993.
