A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH
THANKING FAMOUS AMOS RESTAURANT FOR THEIR
CONTRIBUTION AND ASSISTANCE TOWARD THE
BEAUTIFICATION EFFORTS OF AHERN STREET
WHEREAS , the Beautification Committee of Atlantic Beach
has undertaken landscaping enhancements for a portion of
Ahern Street , east of Sherry Drive; and
WHEREAS, Committee volunteers have been raising funds ,
through donations , for the purpose of this beautification
project ; and
WHEREAS , Famous Amos Restaurant has generously contri-
buted toward these efforts ; and
WHEREAS, Famous Amos Restaurant has further assisted by
allowing use of, their water , both at the Ahern Street
location and the landscaped median of Atlantic Boulevard ,
essential for the survival of the plantings .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Atlantic Beach City
Commission expresses deep appreciation to Famous Amos for
their support of City beautification efforts .
ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach,
this 11th day of October , 1993 .
