A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH
PROVIDING FOR ANNUAL REVIEW OF WATER AND SEWER
RATES, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission passed Ordinance No. 80-91-45 on
December 16, 1991, which created new water and sewer rates charged
to residents residing within the City and customers outside the
City, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires that said water and sewer
rates be reviewed annually, or as directed by the City Commission,
in order to provide sufficient revenue for the operation of the
water and sewer plants as well as to provide the most cost
effective rates to the customers serviced by the City of Atlantic
Beach,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The water and sewer rates and charges established
by Ordinance No. 80-91-45 shall be reviewed annually, or as
directed by the City Commission, and any change of rates or charges
shall be established by ordinance of the City Commission after due
public notification.
Section 2 . Any changes in the sewer and water rates and
charges shall be made to provide sufficient revenue for the
operation of the sewer and water plants, and to provide the most
cost effective rates for all customers of the City.
Section 3 . This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage and adoption.
