RESOLUTION NO. 91-1
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING CERTAIN MONIES BETWEEN FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City Charter of the City of Atlantic Beach requires
that the City Commission approve all budgetary increases and transfers
from one fund to another, and
WHEREAS, the nature of budgetary systems and those day to day
decisions affecting such budgetary systems require adjustment from time
to time,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Atlantic Beach, that the attached Budget Adjustment No. 90-06 be approved
for the 1989-90 budget.
Adopted by the City Commission January 14, 1991.

EXPLANATION: To provide additional funds for the Finance , Building and Equipment
Maintenance Departments because of the following reasons :
( 1 )Overtime required because of position vacancy and increased workload overall ,
( 2 )Legal Expenditures spent in excess of original budget for labor negotiation
because of new labor unions that were formed.
( 2 )Additional salary funds necessary because the vacancy in the Community
Development Director was filled by a new employee making a higher rate than
budgeted for in the prior year.
( 3 )Additional equipment funds needed to replace a wornout floor jack,
electrical winch to pick up heavy metals when welding, a and vacumn pump
used when making automobile A/C repairs .
