A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 90-2, REDUCING THE
NUMBER OF MEMBERS ON THE RECREATION ADVISORY
BOARD, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission passed Resolution No. 90-2 on
January 22 , 1990, which created the Recreation Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, the Recreation Advisory Board as created was to be
composed of seven (7) members appointed by the City Commission, and
WHEREAS, two (2) members of the Recreation Advisory Board have
resigned or otherwise left said Board and the Director of Parks and
Recreation has requested that the Recreation Advisory Board be
reduced in number to five (5) members.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of the
City of Atlantic Beach as follows:
Section 1. The Recreation Advisory Board for the City of
Atlantic Beach, Florida, shall be composed of five (5) members
appointed by the City Commission, and Resolution No. 90-2 is hereby
amended accordingly. All remaining provisions of Resolution No.
90-2 not in conflict herewith shall remain in full force and
effect.
Section 2 . This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage and adoption.
PASSED by the City Commission of Atlantic Beach, Florida this
28th day of October, 1991.
