WHEREAS, on two separate occasions John W. Weldon graciously agreed
to serve the unexpired portion of a term on the City Commission, and
together with an elected term, did serve as a City Commissioner for
seven and one half years, and
WHEREAS, John W. Weldon gave generously of his time, talents, and
energy serving on numerous committees, most recently the Utility
Committee and the Adele Grage Community Center Committee, always
striving to serve the best interests of the city and its citizens, and
WHEREAS, John W. Weldon has agreed to continue to be involved in
the life of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of Atlantic
Beach, Florida, that John W. Weldon be recognized for his outstanding
contributions to the city and its citizens through his service.
Adopted by the City Commission of Atlantic Beach, Florida, this 5th
day of November, 1991.
