90-04 v RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ATLANTIC
BEACH AUTHORIZING ALAN C . JENSEN, CITY
ATTORNEY, TO PROSECUTE AND DEFEND FOR
AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY CERTAIN CIVIL
COMPLAINTS, SUITS AND CONTROVERSIES IN
WHICH THE CITY IS A PARTY, PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE .
WHEREAS, Section 158 of the Charter of the City of
Atlantic Beach requires the City Attorney to prosecute and defend
for an in behalf of the City, all civil complaints , suits and
controversies in which the City is a party, when authorized by
resolution of the City Commission, and
WHEREAS, there are certain civil complaints , suits and
controversies presently pending which require representation by
the City Attorney,
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Commission of
the City of Atlantic Beach, as follows :
Section 1 . The City attorney, ALAN C . JENSEN, is
hereby directed and authorized to represent the City in the
following civil complaints, suits and controversies , to-wit:
( a) Blackard v. City of Atlantic Beach
(b) Grunewald v. City of Atlantic Beach (monitor)
(c ) Michael-Wright-McLean v. City of Atlantic Beach
(d) Anderson v. City of Atlantic Beach (monitor)
(e) City of Atlantic Beach v. Hanover Ins . (monitor)
( f ) Fromhart v. City of Atlantic Beach (monitor)
(g) Mincey v. City of Atlantic Beach (monitor)
Section 2 . This Resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its final passage and adoption.
