88-16 v RESOLUTION NO. 88-16 WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of Atlantic Beach has held a public hearing on the tentative budget and proposed millage rate, and WHEREAS, Chapter 200.065 Florida Statutes requires at the public hearing to finalize the budget, the governing authority must adopt a separate Resolution stating the millage rate to be levied, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, as follows: Section 1. An ad valorem millage of $1.5564 per $1,000.00 value is hereby authorized to be levied on all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Atlantic Beach, provided however, that said millage shall not be levied upon property claimed and allowed as homestead under the General Laws of the State of Florida. This millage is less than the rolled-back rate, being 97.97% thereof. Section 2. That a millage of $. 1364 per $1,000.00 valuation be levied on all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Atlantic Beach including homesteads, for the purposes of paying interest and principal on General Obligation Bonds. Section 3.
