1.CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
The meeting was called to order at 6:04 p.m.
2.APPROVAL OF MINUTES

3.CHAIR REMARKS-SARAH:
Thanks to Heather and Anastasia for covering compost event last week
Mark resigned as of 10/12/2024
Brian (from COAB) resigned to move over to St Pete.
Possible date for community development board to present to ESC before years end

Need a date / time for Community meeting for CAP
Canvas CAP at the Beaches Watch 10/19
T. Miner re-designed our CAP
November 04 to promote CAP
In person CAP town hall will be on either November 09, 14, 18, 19
2025 Priority setting meeting will be held November 21st. Time TBA
6.COMMISSION/STAFF REPORTS
Chapter 24 passed.
No definition of artificial turf? And it is considered pervious.
7.OLD BUSINESS
Streamline Todd’s CAP power point slide 4 (areas of focus) to make it more obtainable
8.NEW BUSINESS
Christmas Trees for dune restoration – need to research benefit/harm

9.SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS
A.OSC:
Community awards to be held Dec
Patrick: Census to hold our 2024 COAB ESC awards at a restaurant (as opposed
to Community Center). Heather second. Unanimously approved.
Arbor Day Jan 17. Tree give-away size and budget TBD.
Dan: Motion to have community tree giveaway around arbor day. Amy Second.
Discussion: have the details sent to tree subcommittee (size, quantity, type, etc.)
B.TREE: did not meet due to storm but will continue to discuss demonstration garden
C.S&R:
Fleet assessment submitted to consultant
– update priorities
Orchard plans to still be in discussion
