1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
The meeting was called to order at 6:05 pm.
2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A. Approve minutes from the following Cultural Arts and Recreation Advisory
Committee meeting
3. RECOGNITION OF VISITORS
4. ONGOING BUSINESS
A. Approval of Strategic Vision
Mary motioned to approve the Strategic Vision, Jane seconded and the motion carried
(4-0).
B. Grant funding recommendation
More discussion was held on how to decide how to allocated the funds. Decision was
made to vote Full/Partial/or no funding. School requests were discussed separately.

New Age Hippy - $920
Possibilities Plus - $3000
Beaches Fine Arts - $1500
Connecting Through Music - $3000
Beaches Go Green - $0
Word Revolt - $500

Birds of Fire - $1500
Beaches Town Center - $3000
Fletcher High School - $13000
Mayport Middle School - $12000
Seaside Charter - $2000
Jane motioned to approve the funding, Mary seconded and the motion carried (4-0).
C. Adoption of Scrumwise task board for tracking action items and progress.
Adoption of Scrumwise is not finalized. The committee request the presents of the IT
person to the next meeting.
5. NEW BUSINESS
A. Grant Presentation
1. Birds of Fire
2. Beaches Town Center
Birds of Fire - Mayor Glasser gave context on the Birds of Fire MLK Day celebration
event. The request was for $1,500. Bishop Golden also gave a report on his support of
the event.
Beaches Town Center - Kendra Robertson requested $3,000 to support the Holiday
Celebration.
B. Website and events schedule update
C. Committee Discussion of the recreation survey.
The Recreation Director went over the survey results.
D. Special events schedule for 2022.
The Recreation Director passed out a list of events through the end of the year.
6. OTHER AGENDA ITEMS/ANNOUNCEMENTS
Items for next agenda:
1. Proposed "Menu of Services" for AB website.
2. New template for grant requests and follow up report.
3. Elections
4. Propose more markers/indicators.
7. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:30 pm.
