Tennis Courts - An The Committee requested the latest update on implementing online reservation and payment system. The system would allow closer tracking of court usage. It would also provide a mechanism for local users to gain access to courts instead by being able to show a reservation to someone who has had a court for more than an hour. An mentioned that a professional instructor might offer lessons for free to Atlantic Beach Youth in exchange for use of courts for instructions. A comment was made that this circumvents the present conflict between professional instructors and recreational users. B. Atlantic Beach Elementary Funds from 2020 Atlantic Beach Elementary received $10,000 from the grant process before the pandemic and are requesting to hold the money for use this year. It was determined that they purchased supplies for an event that was not held; therefore, the event has been rescheduled. If the funds are not used for the event, the funds should be returned to the city. C. CAP Program - Jane First Cathedral Arts Project was held at the Baker Center. It was a one hour dance program for the students who attend the after school program. The program was done with minimum impact to city staff and budget.
