3.A. Sustainability and Resilience Matters & Community Action Plan
i.Discussed AB Edible Orchard & Garden status and needs
a.Heather working on site plan, tree species, spacing, raised garden beds,
native plant area, and cost
b.Waiting on staff regarding ability to water AB Edible Orchard & Garden
c.Sarah to create graphic for call for volunteers for Kevin to put in City
newsletter and for ESC to recruit with
d.Heather to reach out to Kevin regarding how COAB Volunteer
Coordinator can help recruit volunteers for AB Edible Orchard &
Garden
ii.Discussed missing focus areas for updated 2024 S&RCAP
a.Decided to make Land Use its own area
b.Sarah to continue to delineate goals, targets, actions, and steps in each
focus area for updated 2024 CAP in time for community meeting on
11/18 and ESC 2025 Priority Setting Discussion on 11/21
