This letter is in regards to the current status and condition of a storm
damaged Laurel oak (Quercus laurifolia) tree located in the front yard
at the Pierson residence at 2242 Barefoot Trace in the Oceanwalk sub-
division.
The tree lost 75 percent of it's top during Hurricane Helene and has
no chance for healthy recovery. As a result it is recommended it be
removed.
