1793 Park Terrace East (Neimczyk) Arborist letter A; 6` i+ ARB__ S`A'C=APE S CONSULTING INC December 20,2023 Meghan Niemcczyk 1793 Park Terrace E Atlantic Beach,Florida 32233 Re: Tree Evaluation: 40"Multi trunk Live Oak(Quercus virginiana) I performed a Level II Tree Risk Assessment on a 40"Live Oak located at 1793 Park Terrace E in Atlantic Beach. This tree has decay present on two of the three codominant stems with included bark This is when two or more branches emerge from the same junction and the bark has grown in between the branches. This leaves a union that is not as strong as wood and is weak and prone to failure. There are visible signs of pest infestation and tip die back. These are issues that happen when a tree is in severe decline. The Oak also has Ganoderma on the buttruss root which is a spore-born wood-rotting fungi that infects the tree roots and foot flares. This issue is exacerbated by a severe lean towards the house. The Level II Tree Risk Assessment Scale: Likelihood of failure: Imminent Likelihood of impact: High Consequences of failure: Severe Targets of failure are;House, people I recommend removal as soon as possible.
