ti~J~REAS, L. W. Minton, Jr. has served as an elected Commissioner
of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida,'fxorn 1969 through 1981, and as
Mayor-Commissioner pro-tem frarn 1973 through 1981, and
WHEREAS, L. W. Minton, Jr. did serve so effectively and efficiently
and gave mast generously of his time and energy for the benefit of the
citizens of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, and
WI~RF,AS, L. W. I~..inton, Jr. , in addition to the above, has willingly
served on numerous boards and canmittees in connection with the immicipal
'government of the City of Atlantic Beach, Florida, including service on
the Board of Directors of the Florida League of Cities, all of which
services proved of great benefit to the citizens of this co~rrrnmity.
