Summary,
Address: 1555 Selva Marina Drive
Atlantic Beach, FI, 32233
We purchased this property July 29th 2019. There are 30 Trees over 3" DBH on the property. The
application is to remove 4 Trees, and replace with 5 Trees detailed below and in application.
2 trees to be removed, we are planning not to mitigate per, Sec. 23-22. —exemption per
documentation from a certified arborist, attached. The other 2 trees would be mitigated on site.
Trees #26 ( 7" Sweet Gum)And Tree #29( 8" Pignut Hickory) would be removed and mitigated on
site with 1:2 Ratio with Trees#31, #32, #33, #34, #. Cabbage Palms, for 1/2 Mitigation Credit,
the remaining 4" would be with 2 Each, 2" Eastern Redbud, and 1 each 2" Loquat trees.
Per onsite evaluation and consultation from Certified Arborist. 2 Trees #3 & #30 in attached
application, were suggested to be removed due to issues identified by Certified Arborist.
Tree 30, is hollow Laurel Oak and leaning towards Carport, Several large limbs have fallen off and
continue to fall off. This Tree used to be part of a Twin Laurel Oak, in which the other side fell
down some years ago. Tree #3, the Southern Magnolia, Top of the tree has snapped off as well as
truck damage in various location. Both trees recommended for removal by certified arborist
documentation attached.
