Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. Good afternoon, Please see the attached mitigation calculations for 724 East Coast Drive. A total of 5.5” of mitigation is owed, which is equivalent to $825.00. Below is information about meeting mitigation: Mitigation shall come in the form of planting trees, paying into the tree fund, or a combination of the two. The tree fund rate is $150.00 per inch owed. New trees shall be selected from the attached approved species list. Maritime species receive double credit (ex. 4” live oak = 8” of credit). New live oaks shall have a 4” caliper and be 12 feet in height at time of planting. All other new species shall have a 2” caliper and be 10 feet in height at time of planting. New palms shall have at least 8 feet of clear trunk height at time of planting. Example mitigation plan: Plant 1-3” maritime species (not an oak) = 6” of credit Plant 1- 10-12” palm tree (this is a standard size) = 10-12” of credit The next step is to submit a proposed mitigation plan. Please provide a landscape plan showing the proposed location for new trees, their species, and caliper size. A mitigation plan must be submitted and approved prior to removal of trees. A mitigation plan shall be submitted in 30 days (3/30/23). Let me know if you have any questions.
