A. Sustainability and Resilience Matters and Community Action Plan
What metrics would be useful to AB to measure for long term resilience and
sustainability and to meet 2050 goals?
Trees
Tree canopy coverage – COJ GIS; permits; arborist letters
How many people take down these large, majestic trees and plant tiny young
trees – it is just not equivalent
Heat island effect – measure annually
Resilience
Marsh
o Mangrove growth
o Loss of inches
o Flooding
