Per your request, I visited 1528 Park Terrace W. Atlantic Beach, Florida 32233. Using existing
tree survey, I located, measured, and evaluated the health and condition of each Protected tree.
There are 17 protected trees on the lot. I condemned 7 trees for a total of 177 inches that should
not have to be mitigated if removed. Also, there are 10 protected trees that appear healthy for a
total of 171 inches. Mitigation may be required if you remove any protected trees that appear
healthy.
These 7 trees are in extreme decline and pose an unacceptable risk. Removal of all 7 trees is the
only means of practically mitigating the risk below moderate.
This onsite assessment was performed in accordance with the tree risk assessment procedures
outlined in Best Management Practices - Tree Risk Assessment, Second Edition (2017) by an
arborist certified by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) or a Florida licensed landscape
architect and signed by the certified arborist or licensed landscape architect.
In addition to this letter, I have submitted a property diagram with all protected trees on the
diagram. I have also submitted a Table with tree identification, diameter, species, and problems
found.
