This letter is in regards to the current status and condition of a Laurel
oak (Quercus Laurifolia) tree located in the front right side at the
Lopez residence at 2206 Laughing Gull Circle in the Oceanwalk Sub-
Division in Atlantic Beach, Florida 32233.
This large mature tree has significant decay in the base of the trunk
(probably due to the neighbor's sprinkler head hitting it with water
over time). Additionally, it has a 40 degree lean over homeowner's
house. The tree would do extensive damage to the property if it were
to fail.
Due to the decay in the trunk, it is deemed a liability and as a result it
is recommended the tree be removed.
