The tree poses an unnecessary risk to person or property. Also, a Sweet Gum tree that the homeowners would like to mitigate for removal. The Cabbage palm is completely dead. The crown fell out of it, and the trunk is remaining. The tree is a hazard to the property and should be removed. The Sweet Gum tree is not dead but does pose a threat to the neighbor’s property, The tree is over 70ft tall and leans over the neighbor’s house. During strong winds the tree is a major threat. Sweet Gum tree’s wood is very soft and tends to break and crack during heavy winds. If the top of the tree broke and landed on the neighbor’s house it would cause significant damage. The tree is dangerous to the surrounding area, and should be removed. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
