Re: Tree Evaluation; 43"Red Cedar
I performed a Level II Tree Risk Assessment on a 43"Red Cedar located at 460 Whiting Lane. There is
evidence of Boring insect activity and also severe decay present on the lower third of the tree caused by a
wood decaying fungi. The Red Cedar is lacking root development on Southside of tree. There is evidence of
past damage on trunk and signs of past failures.
Level II Tree Risk Assessment Scale:
Likelihood of failure probable
Likelihood of impact high
Consequences of failure significant
The only Mitigation is removal
Targets of failure are;people,house,and fence
