ARBORIST REPORT-VISUAL ASSESMENT REQUESTED FOR MAPLE TREE IN BACK YARD OF RESIDENCE.
RED MAPLE (AGER mbrum)-SINGLE TRUNK-15 INCH DBH EA,28'OH.Pictures 2 thru 6-Tree canopy is Completely defoliated.
With lichen and dead branches throughout the Canopy.Bark splitting and Baking is prevalent in trunk and branching.Wood bore holes and
sawdust is present throughout the trunk of the tree.
This tree is completely dead and has been dead for some time from unknown causes. It is possible the wood borers killed the tree but the
majority of wood-boring insects,including many that Infest maple trees,are secondary invaders.They are attracted to trees that have been
weakened by another stressor.
This tree is recommended for removal.
